Make your home theater stand out
I have left this item on my wishlist for about 2 years just because I didn't know anyone else who had this if I had any problems. If you can operate your subwoofer then you can use this. I love the fact the "shaker" is almost virtually indestructible, it lets me know I can be rest assured if I want to demo things on the spot. Be the one person on your home theater block to have this. This is a home theater owners wet dream!!!

System Complete
We thought that our 7.1 system was complete until we read an article on the ButtKicker LFE Kit...we ordered and installed the kit. WOW..AWESOME! We now feel what we've been missing. The real life in-scene sensation of a ButtKicker installed in one of our Lane theater seats encouraged us to purchase another ButtKicker for the other end of our theater seating group. What an amazing invention and addition to a home theater system. I strongly recommend the ButtKicker LFE Kit to complete your home theater system.

Works best with an actual subwoofer assisting it
The biggest thing missing is a remote control. It would benefit from this, but I just set it and leave it now and it works ok. It takes a little while to figure out what setting to use, and the music settings are a little different from movies.
The next thing is that the movie studios should come out with 5.2, 6.2 or 7.2 soundtracks. Instead of just working on sounds under 50Hz, it would be nice if the special effects guys could work with this and add that functionality to the Buttkicker.
The last thing, is that when using this with no subwoofer, you may think something is missing. You will feel the bass, but not hear it. I only could use it for 2 months before I built a 18" subwoofer and hooked it up to the Buttkicker amp. Now, everything is great. The shaker makes it seem like the bass is louder than it really is. My problem is that I think the neighbors can hear the stereo, but when I get out of my chair, it isn't as loud as I thought.
I haven't played any video games with it yet, but I think it would work (as long as the bass notes are in the right places)

Just get-it
If you love to feel the power and all the detail and get more then anything you ever experience, it's a must have thing. I got this kit with an extra Butkicker, mounting plate and wires. I install it in minutes, flip the switch on and what a difference. I have a 7.1 powerful amp, a 800w sub amp / (2) 10" and the addition of (2) of those kickers under my large sofa... WOW no remote control can stay in place. Movies got to an other level. I now feel lower base who are actually wave like a boat in water, it kick and vibrate like nothing heels. it's not like a sud, I wold call that an under-sub. it's not design to replace a near by or direct sub, it's an add-on I should say a must have. But forget about it if your place is an apartment or there somebody in the same building, those baby will shake the all place.
I can't imagine a full signal and a perfect sung system without-it. Have a look to there web-site.
