Mr. Critical

(4 out of 5) by Mr. Critical on Jul 20, 2007 (Illinois)
I purchased 2 sets (4 speakers) for use near our pool. For the price the speakers sound great and are decent looking. The bracket seems a bit flimsy (it's plastic) however; once mounted with the speakers screwed in they are fine. I'm considering purchasing another pair for inside the garage. I received them quickly and overall I'm surprised and impressed for the price.

Can Handle Power

(5 out of 5) by Gunther Boudreaux on Oct 30, 2007 (LSU-Death Valley)
An easy task to hook up and mount. Turned on zone2 (multi-room) on my receiver and, WOW, thought my neighbors were gonna call the cops on me. Mounted the brackets and hooked up the speakers in less than a minute. Although it took about 20 minutes to run the wire to them. Installed them under my over hang vertically so I can direct them left or right. Great sounds and definately drowns out the hot-tub. Ready for the game to be played on them Saturday.

Another good Amazon deal

(4 out of 5) by Ted on Oct 21, 2007 (Long Island, NY)
These sound good for outdoor speakers. I put them in my house to test them. The frequency range of these makes them a little better for outside. A bit heavy in the midrange. They are made of thin plastic, but still sound decent. They sound much better than $30 and I don't have to worry If they get damaged. The mounts are very easy to install. I used one screw each against a flat surface. The speakers angle where you want them to. Overall, I'm very happy with these.

Good outdoor speakers

(4 out of 5) by Timothy K. Scoff on Jun 30, 2007
I bought a pair of these and they sound great. They need to be mounted under the eaves of your house and can't be mounted where they will get rained on directly or else I'd give them 5 stars.

Excellent speakers for the money

(5 out of 5) by J. Crain on Aug 3, 2007 (Cherryville, NC)
What a day-I ran the speaker wire from my receiver inside through the attic (in Aug) and to our new speakers outside-I was exhausted and I was so happy to find out that the speakers were a breeze to hook up and mount. The only problem we encountered were the tabs that you screw into the top and bottom of the speakers. The heads of the screws were not long enough to hold the speakers securely. Quick trip to the hardware store for longer screws and we were listening to music on our deck. I will definitley buy these speakers for future outside listening pleasure-they sound great!!
