Better than Zuiko 14-42mm

(5 out of 5) by Matticus on Mar 29, 2008 (Detroit Mi, Seattle Wa, Barstow Ca, Tampa Fl)
I've been using the Zuiko 14-42mm for over 3 years now on my Olympus evolt e-300 , and the Sigma 18-50mm lens is far better. I have just recently got it and have used it many times. It's now become my favorite lens.

The Auto Focus is far faster, the Manual Focus is very smooth. It's easy to switch from one another with a click of the button. The images are clearer and the focusing is amazing on it for selective focusing. Fits good in the hand and everything turns and moves smooth.

The price is amazing.

Only problem I see, is it feels delicate compared to the Zuiko and the shipping was not 2-3 days like I order, more like 8 but it's all good.

Excellent lens

I purchased this lens to use with my Olympus E-500 body. I was skeptical as to the image quality because of the low price. I'm glad I decided to give it a try. It takes excellent sharp pictures. I would highly recommend it!

Awesome Macro and Aspherical Lens from Sigma

(5 out of 5) by D. Andjelic on Oct 29, 2007 (Orlando, Florida.)
I give this Sigma lens a five star.

This Sigma lens is a improvement than the Olympus E300 Packaged lens I got from: Zuiko 14-45mm f/3.5-5.6 Digital SLR Lens.

I get sharper and clearer pictures then the Zuiko lens I got with my Camera.

Thank You and Merry Christmas

I saw the price of this lens and I was alittle skeptical. I read the the person's review of this lens, so I decided what do I got to lose and bought it. This is an amzing lens for the price I paid for. I'm really pleased with the results of the photos. I recommend this lens to anyone who is on a budget. You will be suprised when you see your photos.

Excellent Lens

(5 out of 5) by Joe Giaquinto on Mar 25, 2009 (Allentown, PA USA)
This is a very good Lens, I'm using it on my Olympus E-300 and it is better than the original lens the camera came with. Gives you a good sharp picture and it operates very well in the zoom mode. Also adds a classy look to your camera.
