Great headphones for a Great price!

Very comfortable, i can wear for hours on end and they don't bother my ears. I have a $200 pc stereo system and these seem to give me better "surround sound" than my expensive stereo. I don't have a sound card but they sound great!

a great value

I have had a Plantronics DSP-500 (since discontinued I think and replaced by the GamePro 1) for several years, it has been great. When I saw the price for this one I bought it for my wife so we could use Google Talk. I was able to talk to her for free over the Internet from on the opposite side of the Earth and the voice quality was excellent. The headset itself is essentially the same as the more expensive Gamepro. The difference is that the higher-end models plug into a USB port and can be adjusted as a separate sound device on Windows or via a control on the cord, that is very handy. This headphone plugs into the sound card in your computer and it is more of a hassle to adjust. I wound up buying a little USB converter which accomplishes the same thing.

The cord is long, you DO NOT want to roll over it with your chair or you may easily sever the internal wiring. I have done this with two other previous headsets. Tape the cord to your desk and run it in such a way as to eliminate that possibility.

AMAZING.

I got these on Newegg for [...] bucks with their Shell Shocker deal, but I would have bought these for 3 times the sum. Yes, the GAMECOM 1 headset has great bass. It surprised me, as I expected a cheap tinny sound. Voice is crisp and clear on these. They seem durable, but a lot of people have said that these fall apart quickly. If you don't throw them, they'll hold up. They are not rock solid, but on par with all other over-ear headphones I have used incl. Sony, Bose, etc. I got these for Team Fortress 2 and Skype. THEY'RE AWESOMEEEEE.

beat sennheiser hd202 in bass

Turn on the bass boost on your computer and these will really suprise you. better bass than the sennheiser hd202's which distorted at low frequency. These are really awesome, good cord length and adjustable volume on the cord... damn, these dont dissapoint.

works fine. no complaints

I don't use this for gaming, only for skyping. It's worked really well for that purpose and after a year it's still working great. It's comfortable and I've had no issue keeping it on for long chats. I have a small head and small ears.
