This adapter does not fit the latest model of the XM Roady, the one they were sending with the December '06 promotion. The voltage is wrong (5v needed, 6v supplied) and the power connector (fortunately) does not fit.

We truly enjoy our XM at the pool with the Roady2 Home Kit.

First off, I am not a electronics expert but I have connected my DVD, VCR and cable and can program a VCR. So that is my base. I got the Roady and used it in my car. I got the home kit and thought by reading the instructions that it would just plug and play into a CD player or radio. Not quite. It has to have another type of plug (RCA?). Anyway, I was not happy that I had this kit and no where to plug in. I went to xmfan.com and one of the posters mentioned that you could use computer speakers for it. Granted, you are not getting the uber sound that most audiophiles want, but I was happy. I ended up taking the kit to my cube at work and get good reception there. I felt that I was getting more out of my subscription by listening at work all day. I still take the Roady home every night and plug into my car. Think it over and see how it fits in your audio needs.

Unit shipped on time, was delivered on time and arrived in excellent condition. No problems. Unit worked as advertised.
