This portable DVD player is adequate for long rides, but a bit inconvenient with all the straps that hook onto the seat. I'd prefer some rigid hook-type attachments that allow the player to be hung over the seat quickly.

This car kit works very well. The screen is a bit larger than other DVD players of similar type. The only down side is that the battery only charges for about 2 hours (shorter than many movies). So, if you are going to use this in the car, you need to be able to charge it.

I came across these reviews when searching for others who might've had the same problem I encountered. Purchased back in May 2005. Worked great for a few trips, even went overseas with it, then put it away for a few months. Going on another trip, took the player out, and when I insert a disc, it just spins and spins and spins, displaying "Loading disc" on the display. It never gets past this step.

I would definitely recommend anyone looking at this product to stay away.

Crossed my fingers and hoped for the best but the DVD player played one DVD the refused to load another.

This Portable DVD is the best on the market for the price. The screen is big enough to see any of your favorite films and the sound is great too. A great investment.
