A Must for Sony's DSC F-505V Camera
(5 out of 5) by Sedna on Aug 14, 2005 (Nampa, Idaho)I thought my Sony's DSC F-505V Camera was broken - the old NPFS11 series battery had a verified charge, but when inserted in the camera it gave a "low battery" warning and then would shut off. After weeks in the camera repair shop, the repairman couldn't figure out what was wrong and was on the verge of sending it on to Sony for their (expensive) assessment.
After finding a write up on-line about others with the same problem I saw mention of the new NPFS12 series battery as a possible fix.
It works and I finally get an accurate time readout for the battery charge.
Too bad Sony hasn't put out a bulletin on this one.

Don't waste Time and $
(5 out of 5) by GR8VET on Dec 29, 2007 (Alabaster, AL)Don' waste any more time or money on cheap after market batteries. I have spent tons of $ trying the cheap ones. Get the real deal from Sony and your troubles are over. This battery has been great, holds a good long charge!
