Just what I needed

(5 out of 5) by ha-evolution on Jul 19, 2008 (ECWI)
I wanted to hard mount a wire in my S2000 as in order to install my radar detector in a more stealthy manor. It was very easy with this cord.

Power cord works great

(5 out of 5) by L. Jones on Jan 23, 2007
The direct power cord has allowed me to keep an open socket on me cigarette adapter. When done, just push cord back into defroster dash area and you hardly notice the tip!

Lose the cord!

(5 out of 5) by W. Manduca on Mar 10, 2008
I wish I'd done this a long time ago. Close your ashtray and get rid of that cord dangling down in front of your controls. Free's up your lighter outlet for an emergency charge on your cel phone too. just an hour's worth of labor to install it at any car audio shop.

Item not as Pictured

(3 out of 5) by Mark Maris on Jan 9, 2007 (Dallas, TX)
In the picture, it shows that this item has status lights and a mute button built-in. When I recieved the product it is nothing more than a wire that goes to the fuse-box. Not a huge deal for me, but if you are looking for the fully functional "official" Escort 8500 Power cord with all the options, look elsewhere.

Works perfectly with Bel RX65

Not much to review here. It is a phone end power cord on one end and power leads on the other end. There is a fuse near the power leads. Local car stereo shop charged me $26 to install.
