VIBRATION ALARM

(4 out of 5) by George Howley on Oct 15, 2009 (NEW YORK)
FANTASTIC PRODUCT I USE IT FOR INSIDE ONE OF MY SAFES IF SOMEONE TRYS TO RIP THE SAFE OUT IT GOES OFF AND IT WOULD MAKE THE ROBBER EITHER DROP THE SAFE, IMMEDIATELY OPEN IT, OR GO DOWN THE STREET WITH A LOUD NOISY SAFE. JUST A LITTLE EXTRA PRECAUTION, EXCELLENT DEVICE. QUICKLY RECEIVED GREAT RELIABLE SELLER, GREAT PRICE.

Toddler Proofing

(5 out of 5) by Kerrie B. Kuznicki on Jun 26, 2009
This works perfectly for my storm/screen door. After reading many reviews about the child-proofing items for a screen door, all fell short. I decided to opt for this alarm. It's LOUD. I can hear it no matter where I am in the house! I keep the screen door locked, but my son CAN unlock it, so the alarm is my back-up plan. It's great in the "chime" mode too.

Check your local pool codes...

(5 out of 5) by Dr. Richard H. Miller on Jan 28, 2009 (Tallahassee FL)
This is definitely everything advertised.
It's small, easy to install, and LOUD!
However, because it has a SWITCH, our local pool codes will not accept it.
Alarms required for final inspection after a pool is built are very specific. This alarm is approved by the State of FL, but not accepted by Leon County!

GE56789 window/door alarm is great

(5 out of 5) by trinitycause on Oct 28, 2008 (Queens, New York)
This alarm is terrific if you're in an apartment. For a house I would spend the money to have the whole house wired, but for apartments, it does the trick. Put one on each window/door and forget about the $100's in gates and bars. I refuse to be the prisioner in my own abode with gates and bars on the windows... I live in NYC. This alarm is loud and the batteries can be tested without setting it off. If you have old wooden windows it may not line up properly but you have a half inch deviance to play with before it activates, but most of the windows in NYC are energy efficent aluminum double glass..so for $6.06 each they're a bargain. I highly recommend it for apartment living.
