Great cable for recording...

This cable rocks

It WAS possible, but the sound quality definately suffered. I tried this cable and there was no signal loss or noise caused byt the cable. Totally worth the $$$.

Handy way to use XLR mics w/consumer/prosumer camcorders

One of the first things to go is accommodation of decent external audio sources. An excellent, inexpensive way to get around that is to use a Griffin Tech. GarageBand Mic Cable. We use wireless mics and simply connect the receiver to the camcorder with one of these neat devices that converts XLR to 1/8 mini. Good deal!
TO play MP3 player into mic equipment
