Excellent speaker cable, very sturdy, exc quality

(5 out of 5) by D. Gillilan on Apr 5, 2008
This speaker wire is the best I have bought. The sound is just fine, I hear no degradation or artifacts or anything that would result from a poor connection. The gauge, 14, is perfect for my setup, which includes seven speakers, and I do have two floor standing speakers; I use bare wire into my speaker outlets on each speaker and in the receiver. The outer jacket is white and sturdy and the inner wires are in red and black conductor jackets, very nice for connecting, to connect these properly to each source/speaker. I was able to use a standard wire cutting tool similar to a set of pliers but a larger tool or specific speaker wire cable tool would have helped. The spool was shipped promptly and in a sturdy box. I have ordered another spool of this same speaker cable, from this vendor for my speakers which currently have very small gauge cables. Thank you. Very pleased.

great cable

(5 out of 5) by Samantha Wynne on Mar 9, 2009 (Ocala, Fl.)
i bought this speaker wire and got a good deal on it compared to the prices that they want at the store and for some of the monster wire. i got this and i was not dissapointed. i upgraded wire when i upgraded speakers and it worked great for my polk tsi 300s. its also in wall rated so you can use it for that if you want also but i just ran mine across the floor but it looks great and you cant really even see it where it runs across the wall and where it comes across my fireplace i wrapped it in electrical tape to camoflauge it and where the cables come together near my reciever i wrapped them to to keep everything looking nice and neat. anyway i am happy with the wire and if i ever need anymore i will definitly being buying this again.

Sceptical at first but after Testing its the same Quality as my cable that costs 14 times as much

(5 out of 5) by Kristopher A. Prevost on Oct 17, 2008 (Sterling Heights, MI USA)
Sceptical at first but after Testing its the same Quality as my cable that costs 14 times as much

Yeah thats right, I bought 100ft of this cable for $30 and compared six foot of it to the 6 foot cable I bought for $50.

Heres the Calculation

Pair of Six foot Cable $50

1 cable=$25
Six foot from the 100ft reel= $1.80

$25/1.80=13.8 thats almost 14 times as much.

Well both cables are Cooper yes the $25 six foot cable looks nice but sounds the same, beyond that I could have paid over $100 for the same cable.

Though research and talking to some freinds it is obvious that people and companys just talk up there cables to make TONs of money because people think the more expensive cable it going to do wonders.

I have 99% pure Cooper thats all I need, end of my story.

14/2 insulated speaker wire

(5 out of 5) by Handy Man on Apr 16, 2009 (Falls Chruch, VA)
Used this wire for a behind the baseboard wiring for a home theater system. The sound of the home theater noticeably improved from the no so insulated 14/2 speaker wire that was previously being used. Excellent performance for the price.

Sounds great, easy to work with, and cheaper than Monster. What's not to like?
