They did their job!

(5 out of 5) by Longtail on Apr 6, 2008 (Seattle, WA United States)
I'm very pleased with these are beautiful, elegant little glasses. I got to use these last night at the theater, and they fit perfectly in my purse nestled in their velvet carrying bag. I was up the nosebleed seats at the top balcony, so I was more than grateful to have the focusing capability! They did their job perfectly, and I was impressed I could pick out the details of the rhinestone patterns on the actor's costumes and even their face paint. I totally recommend these little glasses, I even got lots of compliments on them from people around me.

The only suggestion I could make is if you get them, buy a chain so you can hang them around your neck.

These worked great

I ordered Opera Glasses to go to a live show becasue I was not sure how good our seats were going to be. They did a great job and giving me and my friends a better view of the stage. I have to give these 5 stars

Arrived on time, as pictured.

(5 out of 5) by Mara on Mar 17, 2009 (Denver, CO)
I purchased these glasses on Feb. 20 with standard shipping, they arrived Feb. 26. They came as pictured and I am very happy with my purchase. I took them to Phantom of the Opera--we had balcony seats--and they worked great! Granted, they don't have all the features of the Bushnell binoculars my husband had, but they worked very well and we had a wonderful evening.

A few things I wish they would have mentioned in the product description: first, one can adjust the focus by rotating the little knob in the middle; second, there are little rings on the sides so that you can attach a chain. I added a chain to mine, and it was nice because I didn't have to worry about my glasses accidentally falling off my lap and getting broken.

If you want a stylish pair of opera glasses at a reasonable price, these are for you. I highly recommend them.

The Nightmare Before Christmas (and 6 weeks after)

(1 out of 5) by Bellero von Tess on Feb 10, 2009 (California)
I ordered these before Christmas as a present for my wife, but, to my dismay, Adorama sent a model with a tacky gold trim (rather than the advertised silver trim). I returned the merchandise, and, incredibly, they sent the same gilded model again! I returned it again, they now say they have no record of the return and refuse to ship a replacement. Bottomline: I paid for a pair of opera glasses, plus about twice that amount for shipping, spent hours on the phone, and received - nothing.

I like these - just wish they came with a hard case for all the times I thought my husband was going to drop them.
