Great HDTV for the price !
You will not find a better projection HDTV value, to watch HDTV, and DVD movies. No HDMI or DVI, but most people won't miss those connections.
First, you'll need a stand for this tabletop TV to get it at a viewing height. It's a projection TV - the viewing angle is important. More than 45 degrees off center, and the picture darkens. That's normal for projection TVs. This is better used in a room where you can darken the shades or you won't be using a lot of bright lights during viewing.
Out of the box, you might think the TV has a bad picture. The factory picture presets are terrible. The contrast, brightness, sharpness, color are set way too high. Turn those way down and the picture starts to look amazing. All projection TVs need a few weeks to break in, so the picture gets better every day. After a few weeks you can turn off the auto focus feature and use it only when you feel necessary.
Regular 4:3 cable TV is grainy when its stretched on a big screen, so use the Digital Noise Reduction and turn down the sharpness.
For DVDs and HDTV signals using component cables - it is amazing. Just get the popcorn and turn out the lights!

BEST VALUE
First things first: I don't know why Amazon decided there are 2 tuners; there is no PIP feature (not a surprise for a projection TV at this price). However, I knew about this in advance, since it is always a good idea to try to research manufacturer's own site before purchasing an item this big, and our whole family still likes the set very much.
If you want to upgrade from old CRT set, but don't have huge room, this television is great to go. The picture is superb even with signal coming from analog cable box. We will upgrade to digital signal in next couple months, but for now we are very satisfied.
We connected DVD player via regualr composite input, and the picutre is like a photo, my 10-yeal old even called it "like 3-d", and to me not at all worse than # of much higher priced plasma screens that I saw in local retail stores.
The sound has # of options including customized. Stereo is not bad for built-in speakers.
Another feature we like is anti-reflective screen. We rejected many other models in similar price range because their screens were so reflective you could use it as a dark mirror. I don't know any cons about this TV. Once again, this is the best value for the price.

This is an excellent value television! Great picture!
Because this TV has been discontinued for some time now, I can see it rather pointless to say a great deal about it...
I'd just like to say that I am big into home theatre and picture is always a must for me. I have owned numerous CRT sets (Sony, JVC, Panasonic, Sears etc) an InFocus 220 projector w/ luminous screen, and countless computer based CRTs and LCDs.
I picked this set up at the Bay originally, the salesman gave me a decent price. I currently use an upconverting Samsung DVD-HD850 and do 1080i over component to this set. The picture is down right excellent, and I seriously would only expect a rival picture from a very expensive set. This projection CRT performs quite well, and I am being completely honest when I say its worth your money if you're looking for the type of setup I have at a price point.
Good interconnects are a must. I use the Monster Z300CV for component video.
The specs were a little vague with the documentation-- I will tell you personally, this TV does every great resolution! 480p/720p/1080i.
Without a doubt it deserves 5 stars espicially considering the price!
