This quality battery is the right fit

Don't worry about the lack of a picture - this is the battery you need to replace your Uniden BT-446. It is an exact size replacement with the proper connector. It comes in retail (card/blister) packaging.

Huge improvement in talk time

(5 out of 5) by Ken Sellers on Feb 8, 2007
Bought two of these batteries to replace the factory batteries in two 5GHz Uniden cordless phones. Even though the mAH rating is the same as the factory battery, and they say that NiMH batteries don't wear out (baloney!), the new batteries more than doubled our talk time. In fact, we haven't even found the limits of our talk time using the new batteries.

My phone lasts so much longer

I have a Uniden BT-446 phone. After a couple of years, the battery started to wane and for the past several months, they would not hold a charge for longer than an hour or so. I looked around for compatible batteries and found these. They are terrific and fit/work just as they are advertised to. I can now talk for hours without recharging and leave my phones off the base charger stand for days. Its been about a month now and I think these batteries work better than the original factory ones did when I first bought the phone. Should definitely have gotten these earlier! I highly recommend these.

This can be a tough call!

A little pun to start out but some advice on this battery.First only buy from amazon and link it up with somethimg else to get free shipping.I looked at a couple of stores and Amazon is the cheapest from a major retailer. Also if you have a phone with an extra base or 2 be aware you could find a recording machine with an extra base at a warehouse club for about twice the cost of 2 batteries. So if you phone is 5 years old and the batteries are dying you are better off getting the next genaration of phones with an warranty then extending the life of an old phone.Buying one or 2 replacement batteries for an old system with recording machine is really the only situation in which it makes sense to buy replacement batteries. If you are buying 3 or 4 batteries it is better to get new phones.I have posted a picture of the back of the battery pack but this will fit any uniden phone that uses the BT-446 model of battery.
