Good for what it is

(4 out of 5) by Ordinary guy on Nov 8, 2009
I bought this CD player/radio combo for my three year old granddaughter. She loves music and dancing. She also loves fidgeting with dials, buttons and pull up attachments (i.e. the antenna). Therefore the primary objective was to find something she could use, enjoy and if it got mishandled and broken wouldn't be any great loss.
So far it has handled these minimal requirements perfectly.
Just remember it has a single speaker (mono) output so it won't match a stereo "boombox" for sound quality....but it sounds good for what it is. We've had no problem with radio reception.

Had to Return It

(2 out of 5) by D. Milber on Oct 23, 2009 (USA)
It would have been perfect except that the sound kept shorting out. I thought the cord was loose, but that wasn't the case and so it was unusable and I returned it.

Great sound for [...] bucks!!!!

This little CD player is well worth the price and has a great sound quality for [...] bucks!! I couldn't ask for anything better than this for the money. I looked at a Sony CD player, but it weighed a ton, and I need something I can carry around easily. This is it! I love it and I'm completely satisfied with my purchase.

GOOD BASIC CD PLAYER

(4 out of 5) by Linda D. Reeves on Oct 12, 2009 (Rossville, Ga)
This is a great little CD Player/Radio for camping or the beach. Not too big and I like the front load feature because it makes it slimmer so it uses less space than those big Boom Boxes.. Wanted something portable for a reasonable price. This was just what we needed. Not fancy but just right for basic listening.Don't know yet about battery life or how long it will last because I have had it for a short time. So far, So Good...

Not bad for the money

(3 out of 5) by Twizzler on Sep 22, 2009 (San Francisco)
I've had this for about three weeks and it is still working after daily use. I only use it for a night-time sleepy time CD, which is good because the radio kinda sucks - hard to fine tune. Great for night use, though, because it doesn't have a big shiny-bright light to keep you awake, plus when the CD shuts off there is no big click sound. In fact, I've never even heard the thing turn off (this implies that I am still awake sometimes, which I am).

All in all, I'm quite pleased. Maybe in a month or two it will stop working, and if it does? I'll let you know.
