This is a great product for cooling your laptop!

May 21, 2008 - By C. P. Broadhead

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3U5MC987H1A9J I just bought this great product. It cools your laptop down as you work. The experts say that when a fan on a computer runs for too long of a time it shortens your battery. This new system makes it so your laptop is cooled all the time.
In the video i demonstrate how it works and how to use it.
Happy Cooling!

It Works But...

Apr 17, 2008 - By A. Norton (Council Bluffs, IA USA)

The product does work which is why I gave it a 3 but I do have some complaints...

1. If I didn't have a lap table with a lip on it the laptop could slip off of this item. I think it should be made out of rubber instead of the foam. Also, a lip on the bottom end of it would be much better.
2. The bottom of the product is smooth and could slide down a tilted table causing your laptop to crash to the floor. How likely, probably not very but your laptop could tumble. (Say if you had it on a lap table and bent down slightly to pick up a pencil... bye bye computer) I think using rubber and texturizing this product would help immensely with the slipage.
3. Definitely would not work for those that want to use their laptops directly on their laps.
4. I have a 15" laptop and it is quite a bit smaller than my laptop. Could be at least 4" wider.
5. Partially covers the one air vent on the bottom of my laptop.

The basic concept does work. So, it really is just a matter of I got what I paid for. Next time I'll pay a few extra bucks for a more detailed laptop lifter.

Excellent product, unfortunate price.

Feb 5, 2007 - By John Vieira (Portland, OR)

I did not want a laptop stand with fans, etc that had to plug in, and clip in and all that jazz. I wanted something simple that would serve its purpose well and that i could easily just grab my laptop off of it. This product is fantastic for that and serves my purposes exactly. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is the shipping price. The product is $9.99 which drew me to it in the first place, but then shipping is around $7.50. I found this way too high, it is a small and lightweight product, it seems unreasonable to charge that much for shipping. That said, I wanted it enough to pay the extra shipping and the product itself is excellent.

It's Cheap and It Works

Jan 21, 2008 - By Diana L. Powell (Rexford, Montana)

I had my doubts when I first bought one of these. But now I am hooked and have bought several to give away as present to friends and family who own laptops and it makes a huge difference. No more overheating! Absolutely worth it!

Inexpensive and effective.

Apr 27, 2008 - By L. King (North Smithfield, RI United States)

Can you believe people are paying 80 bucks for laptop stands?!
This little foam thing is cheap and does the same job.
It doesn't rotate or have a fan, but heck, it's less than 10 bucks.
