(5 out of 5) by R.F. Bacharach on Dec

I love this screen. It arrived super fast, and was in excellent condition (I don't see how, with the packaging the way it was - that others said it was damaged. If the box is clearly damaged by the shippers - then the item should be refused anyway - which puts the monkey on their backs). It operates beautifully so far (though I've only used it a few times, admittedly) ... but again, I can't see how it wouldn't last for years with NORMAL treatment. The casing is amazingly constructed of a heavier grade metal - which I was delighted with, and did not expect. With the other "damage" reports, one would have expected much lower guage metal - like so much "flimsy" stuff on the market today. The endcaps - which contain the hanging mechanisms / devices - are made of what seems to be an appropriate grade of heavy duty plastic - so I think that those who complained that these were broken on arrival, actually broke them upon trying to rush the hanging of the unit - by possibly not having a second pair of hands to help - or the patience & experience required for the job.
This screen was the perfect size (70 X 70, Model B) to install on the trim panel over a set of French Doors - so it seems to be camoflauged ... it's white finish and the angles of the casing blending in with the woodwork and the wooden curtain rods which extend out about 6 inches from the trimwork. I pointed it out to a visiting friend ... pointing in the direction of the French Doors, where the draperies were open ... and he could not see it at all til I went over and pulled it down. I have a drapery panel on each end (covering the endcaps), and one drapery panel in the middle - giving the appearance and effect of two long windows.
Now I may even consider buying one to go over a 120" window (though that trim is Oak / Natural Wood finished).
CONCLUSION: Great Screen, Great Construction, Great Shipping, Great Merchant/Seller. THANKS SO MUCH !

When we purchased this screen we were expecting this to be one of those too good to be true scenarios because of the low price with shipping and handling included. But low and behold the screen is awesome. The quality is top notch. No problems with the pull down mechanism, mounting it was a breeze (we just used dry wall anchors and put it up as you would a picture frame). Really nice quality, not cheap feeling.
If you are debating wether or not a screen is going to benefit your picture, it does. it makes the picture pop and is a nice touch to finish the room. It's also really fun to hook your laptop up to it and share internet videos and computer presentations with a group of friends.

This Projection Screen worked out PERFECTLY for our needs here @ the Rescue Mission in Pinellas Park, FL.. It was mounted with standard "L" brackets to the wall close to the ceiling. The unit operates exactly as described and was packed & shipped Professionally. I highly recommend this unit AND Company ! Thank You !!
Can't beat it for the price

My screen arrived in perfect condition with decent packaging. The screen is nice and bright and, as long as you mount it level, it's a nice flat surface. I mounted it to my drywall with anchors and it looks to be sturdy enough. The room isn't large enough for my image to reach the edges of the screen where the black is but it's not a problem. At the current price this is a great deal. Pull down feels heavy and smooth. It goes back up with no problems. It comes with a cord to attach if you can't reach the handle.

I bought this to use with my LED projector. For the price, I'm very happy. It wasn't much more than the 60x60 screen. It is a little difficult to retract - kind of like a new window shade.
To mount it, I just cut down an 8 foot 2x4 to 74 inches, and then painted it white. Towards the ends of the screen, there's holes for mounting using screws, so I put 2 screws in the wood to line up with these holes. Next, I mounted the 2x4 to the wall, and then I hooked the screen over the screws. The advantage of using a 2x4 is that you can test fit the screws to the screen on the ground. Plus, it brings the screen out about 2 inches from the wall, in case you have to clear pictures that are hanging on the wall.
I'd buy this again.
