I was incredibly pleased with the Laplogic web site & their on-line store. I ended up buying the top-of-the-line model, which I figure is cheap compared to what I spent on my laptop. Besides, if I can use my laptop an extra 30 minutes a day, it pays for itself in no time :)
My order shipped the same day & I tracked it with the on-line tools and got it 2 days later. To photos on the website are good, but the G650 looks even better in person - I got the metallic gold/maroon and love it! The was lots of data on the website about heat protection and while I didn't measure the difference with my laptop, I can honestly say it makes a huge difference! My laptop used to get too hot to use after about 30 minutes, and now I can easily go 2+ hours without feeling any heat at all, which is amazing. It works far better than my pillow, which is what I used to use (it blocked the fans on the bottom of my laptop, which caused problems, but the G650 doesn't). It's surprisingly light, and the no-slip surfaces work great. I love it! :)
