Great design! Less then Ebay!

Dec 15, 2004 - By P51 nut (Riverside, Ca. United States)

I have a portable Sirrus radio set up that I moved from a Saturn to a Honda Crv. I must say, this was very easy to install, set up and get right. The "Gooseneck" design and the way you are able to adjust the mount where the radio sits makes this the choice for those hard to place add-on Sirrus or XM control units. There are no holes to drill, just attach to the drivers or passenger front seat mount bolt. bend and flex the "Gooseneck" to get the best fit and location for you vehicle and your in the money. Provided with the mount is a base that you could "Hard Mount" (drill and screw in) if you wanted to. Me, I go for simple and this mount gives you that and then some. Everyone that has seen the set up including the install guys at my local Best Buy like the way it looks, installs, and functions. It sure saves a lot of grief about looking for the perfect location to mount the control. Don't you just hate getting a new car and having to drill into someplace to mount something. This will prevent all that. And, if like me, you move the unit to another vehicle, one bolt, shes out. No harm, No foul!

P.S. Saved the best for last. This item is less money with shipping from Amazon then buying on Ebay. Gets to you faster too. Cha Ching!

Awesome Universal Mounting Arm!

Apr 11, 2005 - By D. Lewis (Las Vegas, NV)

If you've ever needed an adjustable arm to mount a pda, satellite radio, or mp3 player in your car, the Arkon SR-88 is a fantastic buy. Under $15!!

Includes 2 mounts. One mount allows you to bolt the arm to your seat bolt both horizontal and vertical. The 2nd mount allows you bolt the arm to almost anything else.

The arm itself is flexible, but VERY stiff. Which is good for car applications. Using the arm for a while now, it's never needed to be re-adjusted.

5 Stars! Excellent!

Quick, Easy, and No Mess

Jan 16, 2006 - By usma89 (Fair Lawn, NJ)

First time Amazon customer. Order was easy and I got it within 3 days. I installed the mount myself. It really was as simple as loosening a bolt on the passenger seat (I have a Durango with electric seats) and tightening it back up. The mount has a plastic cover that goes over the flexible steel to conceal the wires. I ran the antenna around the seal of the front windshield, through the passenger door seal and under the dash. No wires visible. I love the mount. Definitely better than sticking something on your dash and have the wires run down the front of your console.

Arkon SR-88 15-inch Flexible Gooseneck XM radio Mount

Apr 26, 2006 - By David D. Wong (Irving, TX USA)

This is great for XM if you don't want to drill into your car. I purchased this for $29.95 at another website (so this is a good price) and I used it in my Lexus RX-330. It works great as I bolted it onto the bolt for the passenger seat closest to the driver. I did not want to drill into my Lexus to install XM satellite radio. It was really easy to remove the seat bolt and install. My Lexus has a cassette deck so I run my XM through the cassette adpater. XM says this is the best reception for XM (as opposed to the tuner which works as well). I have the XM Delphi SkyFI2 which easily installed into this goose neck radio mount. It is adjustable so you can tilt it to the driver for easy viewing. I recommend this for XM.

Perfect for car installation of Sirius Satellite radio!!

Aug 17, 2007 - By Lost in L.A. (Los Angeles, CA USA)

This is the PERFECT mount for your satellite radio. It took me less than 10 minutes to install in my older model Infiniti I30. Bolts right to the passenger seat floor bolt (you'll need a decent ratchet however) -- very easy to install! And it places the radio exactly at the right height on the dashboard. FYI, I also had the unit professionally wired here in L.A. at Circuit City -- installation was about $76 and they did a great job installing the antenna, hooking into the car radio and HIDING all the wires. It's now a PERFECT setup for my Stiletto radio.
