The Belkin power strip is an excellent product, with one of the highest joules ratings I have seen anywhere. It is a nice looking,well made unit at a good price. It is a great value overall.

I was not really expecting such a solid, substantial unit. Especially for the price I paid. The specs exceed most any unit at twice the price and higher. Have recommended this unit to others already, and will likely buy another soon!

An excellent product. You can't go wrong with Belkin. Unless you have to string out 8-10 feet of power cord the cord manager is a feature that eliminates the problem of what to do with the extra, ridiculously large and stiff extra cord. The receptacles are all labelled to assure the best protection for components.

This surge protector was recommended to me by a co-worker that knows his stuff. He said this is the best proctection for your PC equipment even though it is marketed as protection for your home theatre.
Very easy to understand and has all the bells and whistles that you need from wire fault lights to plugs that provide higher protection as you go up the strip.

I have this attached to my LCD TV and DVD player, etc. It seems to work well, I have had no problems with it. I don't know how well it works for an actual large power surge but by the specs it seems that it will work. It does have different setting type outlets, for the most sensitive equipment on down that are clearly marked and it tells you what type of product should be plugged into each outlet. It is a little large but I just stood it up behind our entertainment stand so it is fine for me.
