Does what its supposed to do
(5 out of 5) by M. Racel on Jun 22, 2006 (Atlanta, GA)When I connected my PC to my Receiver, I had a loud buzzing noise that continued even when music was not playing. After a number of hours of research, I found several web pages describing what happens when you have a ground loop caused by connecting multiple A/V devices into a reciever when the devices where plugged into different outlets. If all your electronics share an outlet, then this product won't help you, but if you have something like a PC in another room on a different outlet, this may cause a ground loop resulting in the buzzing noise. After I installed the isolator, the buzz was dead with no need to buy any additional equipment or a new PC soundcard. Worth every penny of is price. Oh, there are cheaper Isolators on the market, but be careful since some will negatively impact your sound (they are not made for Hi-Fi).

No more hum!
(5 out of 5) by R. Miyata on May 12, 2007 (Seattle, WA USA)If you have a powerful, amplified subwoofer and have tried everything in the manual to get rid of the hum (but failed), this is for you. It is very simple to use. Does it affect sound quality? I haven't performed any listening tests but my guess is no, it does not. Oh, I should mention that I'm using this (and another), in a home audio system. I know car systems can have similar problems with alternator whine but I don't know how well it would work in those applications.

No more hum

Say goodbye to the BUZZ !

Living in an apartment building where there's probably really poor electrical wiring, I suffered the buzz from my PC to my amp. So much so, it was almost drowning out the audio coming from it.
Plugged this baby in between the PC and the amp.. and Voila ! The buzz was gone ! I could hardly believe it ! I never usually write reviews, but I was v.impressed with this and thought i'd share my story !
Defintely worth every penny ! Have I complimented it enough now ? lol !
