Awesome Laptop at an Awesome Price

I needed to get a bew laptop for my business, and after shopping around for a few months I found and got this one. I am VERY happy with it. The DVD R/W drive is great and the built in wireless is geat too.

The only cons are that the battery only lasts about 2.5 hours and the fact that HP/Compaq feels the need to load it up with about a gigabite worth of software that you do not need unless you have a HP camera or printer, and even if you did it would come with the software you needed.

amd athlon 64 = Perfection

I recentely upgraded from a P4 2.8ghz and this just blows it away, at the same price.
Pros
1. Amd Athlon 64! Will run 32 and 64 bit unlike Pentium 4.
2. Nice, big, Bright screen
3. Dvd/cd burner + dvd burner
4. Dedicated video memory
Cons
1. Battery life is average

Great Procesor! Nice Design! Perfect Laptop

I got this ltop about 2 months ago so i no what its about. Heres may review!

1. Amd Athlon 64 3000+. It can run the 32 and 64 bit but there isnt any 64 bit yet so its good to be prepared for the future.
2. Graphics card is Sub-Par(only 32mb). You would expect 64mb for a 1500 dollar ltop.
3. Cool Color aand nice design
4. Very nice speakers. Much louder than my previous laptop.
5. Battery is only 2 hours buy you can purcahse a 12 cell(like I did) and the life is now about 3 hours.
6. Dvd burner is only + but that was not problem for me. Also cd burner and dvd player.
7.No memory card reader or fire wire port, but i wouldn't need them anyway.
8. No floppy but i dont care. I prefer to just plug in my usb drive.
9. Tuch pad with on/off button and scroll is a very nice addition.
10. Nice screen which is WXGA(most screens are only xga) gives a ver nice performance
Overall if your looking for a fast, future proof laptop I recemond this 101%.
