It was cheaper thant putting in another outlet

Apr 13, 2007 - By Rosebud (Seattle, Washington)

We decided to buy a long cable to move the TV across the room instead of installing another outlet. It works great.

Its just a cord but it does its job

Oct 31, 2007 - By The Ravyn (Amherst, MA)

I don't know much about audiovisual stuff, but this cord certainly does its job. Good plugs on either end.

Very good, sturdy cables

Jan 26, 2008 - By A. K. Ozkarahan (San Diego, CA USA)

These cables are very good and very sturdy. They are a great buy and are worth the price. Once you take them out of the package you really understand the quality of them because they are fairly heavy and shielded. I would recommend these for any coaxial needs..

I've never felt this way about a cable

Jun 30, 2008 - By T. Graphics (Maine, USA)

Seriously.

I was helping a friend move her television across the room and to extend the cable, I used two pieces of coax and a coupler. When I turned on the television, the cable receptions was terrible. By jiggling various parts of the cable, I ascertained that the problem was one of the cables. By taping it to her VCR in a certain position, the signal came in perfectly, but the vibrations of someone walking across the room were enough to disturb the image. I was planning on ordering some stuff from Amazon anyway, so I ordered this cable as well -to replace the 2 cables.

I had a fuzzy warm feeling from the moment I opened the package. I didn't know that there was such a difference in quality from one coax to another. First of all, it just feels better. The cable is slightly heavier than I am used to, and has a slightly rubbery texture -rather than the slick plastic cable I am used to. This makes me feel more confident in its longevity. The other cables seem as though they might break down and become brittle over time.

The real noticeable difference for me is the connectors. Most coax just has a pathetic little nut on the end to secure it to its connection. These cables have a threaded cylinder completely encompassing the connector. The connection seems more solid.

Upon connecting the cable there were a few tense moments where the image was actually WORSE than before, but then it snapped into focus and was better than it ever had been, as far as I know.

I tried to explain to my friend what a great cable it was and she just shrugged and said, "It works, right?" She just didn't appreciate it the way I did.

I began to plot in my mind ways I could keep this cable for myself instead of leaving it with my friend. I could just go to the hardware store and get a different cable. She'd never know the difference right? But I'd know. Every time I'd visit I'd see that slick, plasticy, cheap cable lying there. Performing adequately, but reminding me of what a bad friend I am.

Ultimately, I just left it there because after all, it's just a freaking cable and the hardware store was 5 miles away.

I guess the main bullet point to take away from my review is:
* Nice cable. Works as advertised. Shipped promptly.

Belkin Quality and Excellence!

Apr 19, 2008 - By Frequent Flyer (Santa Fe, NM USA)

I've been using Belkin products for years from cable modems and wireless routers to USB, HDMI, mini stereo, ethernet cables and now these excellent RF coaxial cables. Like many Belkin products, it comes with their unbeatable lifetime warranty. They are built to last as well as provide high performance. Like their other products, this cable is very high quality using nitrogen-injected dielectric material and 24K gold plated connector ends with a yellow band for easy ID amongst other cables. I would easily stack up these Belkin cables next many of the Monster RF coaxial cables, but at a fraction of the price. This is an excellent, economical investment in any home theatre system or whatever.
Amazon offers some really good prices on these puppies too.
