Best QUALITY there is ...period !

(5 out of 5) by M. Gehret on May 24, 2007 (Colorado Springs)
I have used all types, brands, speeds of DVD media through the years..since 2002 and got the very first DVD recorder and owned a few since...These are By far the very best in Quality and metal azo dyes.
Superb ! The only thing tricky is the X 4 and X 8 that are with the same product code with many companies who sell these. Be careful if you
are ordering X8 and somehow you get X4 ...but regardless..they are excellent. Good price too. A great investment for archiving films.

I like these dvd's. I've been using them and they work fine for me. i did have one that i made a copy of some home movies for family and they said the sound was low. It played fine in my players. So far so good for me.

excellent product - stylish, too

These DVD's are the best I've ever used. They just don't feel cheap; they're not heavy, obviously, but they aren't light, either. They feel substantial, if that makes sense to you. They aren't as thin as some I've seen, and won't bend easily. They won't wilt when they get warm from the DVD drive. And the movie reel design is just cool...

Most Compatible DVD+/-R... Period.

If you burn movies to watch on a regular DVD player, then these are the disks for you. Anyone who burns a lot of movies knows the heartbreak when you arrive at your destination, pop the DVD in, and get the dreaded "error" message. Those days are over.

I promise you that with these disks you will have no more "error" messages, skipping movies, or irate friends calling you saying "Your movie didn't work!!!" These are the *MOST COMPATIBLE* DVD's I have found for stand-alone players.

Personally, I find them a tad expensive and slow for use as data disks. If you are looking to use them as data storage media, you are better off with the cheaper and faster(16x) types out there since compatibility isn't a problem.

But if you are looking for DVD's that are most compatible with any regular DVD player, these are it.
