Sounds OK, but far too bright
This clock radio works very nicely. It sounds OK considering the small size. The only real drawback is the brightness of the display. even on the low setting, it illuminates the entire bedroom in a blue glow.

Nice Cd clock radio, priced to high.
I like the sound from this radio and I should know about sound out of clock radios, I only had gone through five of them in two years. The only thing I don't like about this model is the plugin type intenna. I have found out that you can't pick up stations that great, can't even get my favorite one in orlando, but all else is ok. Now about the price, a little steep for a clock radio i think. I wonder if there is a way to hook up a better antenna for this radio, if so let me know. Thanks

First Impression: Mostly Great, One Admonishment
The build quality is very good. The CD audio fidelity with equalization presets is very good for a clock CD/radio. The radio presets and NOAA weather features are nice. I had no radio reception issues; your results may vary. The snooze button placement is good (on the right top corner with red illumination and tactile feel). There are single tiny tactile dots on the radio and CD play buttons, but the other buttons in that row are featureless and none are illuminated. The LCD display at the lowest brightness setting is akin to a weak nightlight- your bedroom will not be pitch black, nor will it be like sleeping under a full moon, but it must be illuminated to be seen in the dark.
NOTICE: The viewing angle of the LCD could be problematic. The display contents will vanish if it is placed slightly above eye level. In my case, the height of the display in the unit added to the height of my nightstand puts the LCD above eye level if I am lying down. I have to sit up to see the time if I wake in the middle of the night. This can be mitigated by propping up the back of the unit to angle the LCD downward, but why? There is no problem with seeing the display from above.
BOTTOM LINE: I think that it is a very good product with very good features, but the limited vertical viewing angle of the LCD could be a deal killer for some folks. As a new owner, I cannot comment on product reliability.

Great Product
We are very thrilled with this purchase. A very nice compact unit for the headboard. Reception very clear, cd player has a nice tone and the various alarm setting is a really nice plus. I recommend this for anyone who is shopping for a new alarm clock !!!!!!!!!!!! Or even a nice desk set with options and a clear clock display.

I just bought this at Sears for less than $29.00 and it sounds very good, especially for the price!
