Doesn't work
(1 out of 5) by TheSeoulMan on May 4, 2005 (Baltimore, MD)It won't work in my vehicle. I've tried it in both the lighter plug and the alternate power source. I tried it on my wife's vehicle also, but it didn't work there either. The light comes on, but nothing happens when I plug it into my iPod. At first, I thought it was because I had just unplugged the iPod from the dock so it was fully charged, so I played it for a while so the battery would drain a little. The bar went down noticably, yet nothing happened when I tried to charge it up using this cord. I have the model F8V7067-APL.

Good price AND works with the new Ipod Classic
(5 out of 5) by E. Gruber on Feb 25, 2008 (Bronx, NY)The packaging does not explicitly say that the charger works with the new iPod Classic, only that it works with "Ipod Video". Well it works just fine with the 160 GB Classic and saves you a bundle over ipod's more expensive car charger. It was made in China though, so be sure to keep young children from chewing on it :-) I just wish I could find stuff NOT made in China.

Great Product, Great Buy!!

I have read other reviews, which state a possible surge when the car starts if connected to the iPod so I always make sure to plug it in after I start the car. I don't believe this product is as bad as some of these reviewers say it is since I have been using it for many months now with no problem.
This is much cheaper and better than the other Belkin car charger. It has worked great, as advertised, and is especially good for long car trips when my iPod battery dies. Thus, I highly recommend this product and belive it is the best iPod car charger on the market.

Freezes up!
(1 out of 5) by jjc219 on Jun 6, 2005Worked great at first, but now it freezes my ipod up just about everytime I try to use it. Once it freezes I can't get it to work again. I have to wait until the battery completely dies out and charge it back up at home.

Killed my car adapter splitter

Richardson on Apr 5, 2007 (Fredericksburg, VA USA)I am really grateful that I used a car adapter splitter to plug my iPod with this power cord as the power cord blew out my splitter instead of my iPod. I have had no problems in the past using my splitter with my CD player, etc. I feel really uneasy about using this power cord directly into my car plug with my iPod. The fuse blew and I don't even know where to find another one but I don't want to use it again anyway.
