This thing is great!!!

I just bought this earlier today, I have burned 3 DVD-R's with no trouble. I have only been able to burn at 4x because that is the max on my media. I am very satisfied so far. It installed easy, and it came with a great software package. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a top of the line DVD Burner.

Best Burner

I bought this burner (A07, not the OEM brand) about 4 months ago and it has worked flawlessly. But I must admit that I had to update the firmware before I could burn at 8x speed. It's very quiet and stable in that it never rejects a DVD. I had a Sony OEM brand and it was always hit and miss so I gave it away and decided to stay away from OEM equipment. My 2nd DVD burner is also a Pioneer 105 (OEM) and it is also finicky but not as bad as the Sony. It rejected about 25% of the DVDs and the only way around this was to burn at 1X speed. With the Pioneer A07, I can burn at just about all speeds.

I'm Seeing Stars!!!!!!!!

I was scanning the pages looking at DVD writers and ran across this 'gem'. It can write to a CD at a 'blazing' 24x and a DVD at an out of this world 8x. And all for the ridiculously low price of $590.13! That's right, folks...ONLY $590.13!!! Who'd a' thunk it??? Now if I can just quit laughing, maybe I can continue looking for a real DVD writer.
