Amp Wiring Kit

Not the best quality. But what do you expect for the price. I ended up using a few wires, and my own connectors.

Another piece of junk. Eight gauge? Hardly.

I got home from work today knowing that this product would be at my doorstep and that tonight and I could have some fun wiring up a new powered sub for my car. It's so disappointing to get something that doesn't do what it is supposed to. I ended up running into town and getting something better from a local retail.

This Power Acoustik wiring kit is another product where the manufacturer makes false claims. This is not 8 gauge wire. Heck, it might not even be 10. The insulation is very thick and it gives you the impression that it contains a lot of copper. It doesn't. It's 70% insulation and 30% wire.

I'm not sure what the reviewer below is getting. I just know this isn't 8 gauge. How do I know? Because I'm running it right next to another 8 guage wire from another brand (a high end and over-priced brand). There's a huge difference in the amount of copper. I'm going to try posting a picture of the difference here on Amazon.

If you'r amp calls for 12 gauge wire (ha!), this might work for you. If you need a true 8 gauge, look elsewhere and be prepared to spend closer to $40 for it.

Good Product, Fast shipping.

Ground cable is a little short but still serves its purpose. Works great and great price.

Powering a 75 x 4 RMS Clarion Amp and Doing Great

I've used a lot of amp wiring kits with mixed results. This kit had a nice fit and finish to it, the casings are thick, the wires were flexable and durable, and very easy to rout and run. Like most kits I woulden't count on the speaker wires that came with this to run any real power but all and all you'll get your moneys worth out of this for sure.
