I wanted to transter my home videos to my computer as easily as possible and it did the job. The videos are a little "grainy" but I've been told that has to do with the quality of the tapes I used not the cable?? Someone told me this type of cable might cut out sections of my video while it transfered but that hasn't happend to me yet. Sweet deal for the price we paid;)I give it 4 out of 5 stars because we've only used it three or four times.
cable did not fit in the camera socket
