Excellent product, does exactly what I want it to do. Surprising how hard it is to find a 4-pin to 4pin firewire to connect your camcorder to a DVD set top recorder! Can't get them at stnadrd big bix stores. This one had the right price and works!

My computer didn't recognize any devices when I used this cord, so there goes five bucks.

WHY DOES AMAZON FORCE ME TO WRITE A REVIEW??? THE TRANSACTION WAS FINE BUT I DON'T NEED TO WRITE A POEM ABOUT IT.

After paying $8 for this 4-pin to 4-pin cable, I thought I would receive it in the mail, since it is what I happened to buy. Little did I know that crooks are everywhere and you can never be too certain of who is honest or not. The truth is, it never came in the mail but I choose not to complain about it (except for this review) because I simply do not have the time. I hope the thief is satisfied with his $8 and I am certain that I will never buy anything from the same seller again. I hope enough people read this review so they will never buy anything from this untrustworthy seller.

Amazon.com did not allow me to change the shipping. I called immediately to cancel the order, but after hours on the phone and 3 Amazon representatives, they kept repeating the company line "Please contact the seller, we cannot cancel an order, or change an order.." I could not even hardly understand any of the Amazon representatives either and believe me I tried. I think that is by design. Amazon wants you to call the "Seller", but Amazon computers WHERE the seller! Then it's "You're covered A-Z" Except that you don't get the money back for months. I'll never buy Amazon as they stand, again. Mp3 yeah, but nothing they ship. Oh, I also got charged for the same package they didn't ship, twice. Then the cable company gets involved and says for even more shipping charges, they will actually send me what it was I ordered in the first place. NO, don't buy from these guys. It's all a scam.
