MTX 10 Inch Subwoofer
This product is a 10-inch MTX dual coil subwoofer, which has a 200-watt RMS. On the new style MTX road thunder subwoofers there is a black carbon fiber-look with a bright red color on the subwoofers cone. It has a dual coil instead of a single coil, which makes it more durable and able to give the owner that extra sound that they are looking for.
I have owned and listened to over twenty different brands of subwoofers, such as Polk Audio, Pioneer, Bazooka, Audiobahn, Sony Xplode, and Kenwood. Of all those different brands of subwoofers, none compares to the MTX. Not only do they sound great but they are made as if they are bulletproof. My MTX has been put through a lot and they still sound like they are brand new.
I have used two different amplifiers with my MTX. The first amplifier I used was a cheap fifty-dollar 200-watt Optimus amplifier. I did not like that amplifier because it did not give my subwoofers full power. I next purchased a 250-watt MTX amplifier and I loved it. The amplifier is 4-channels with maximum 250 watts. My two 10-inch MTX with my 250-watt MTX amplifier sounds just like my friend's two 12-inch Bazooka's with a 300-watt Bazooka amplifier. People have told me they could not tell the difference between my 10-inch and his 12-inch.
I looked at the exact same subwoofer in Best Buy and at Circuit City. At either store each subwoofer would have cost me $79.99. I really did not want to pay that much so I started looking around and pricing out different brands, but I knew that I really wanted the MTX. I looked on Ebay, and other audio sites on the Internet. Finding the exact subwoofers I wanted on Amazon.com was just a fluke. I am so glad I did because the price on Amazon.com was more then fifty percent cheaper. I did not hesitate and bought them that day. I received them the next day by overnight mail. I have had them now for about four months and have absolutely no complaints. I will not hesitate to buy more car audio equipment on Amazon.com.
I recommend the MTX 10-inch dual coil subwoofer, 200-watt RMS, to anyone who enjoys music and loves the extra sound quality from your car stereo. I also recommend doing business with Amazon.com because it was easy and stress free, and I have absolutely no complaints about the product.
