These batteries LAST A SHORTER TIME THAN MY ALMOST DEAD ONES!!
Thankfully, I had saved my two very old batteries (for main phone plus extension); I thought they were pretty drained because they didn't last long, but when I put in these new ones, they lasted about half as long!!!! Please, please, when you read positive reviews of batteries here, keep in mind that some are posted by the company owner and/or friends and family. But take it from me, a totally objective person, that I feel I just threw out a bunch of money. Unfortunately, I've disposed of the packaging and don't have the time to pack up these batteries and get them over to the post office to attempt to get a refund. Phones are so inexpensive now, anyway, you'd be much better off taking the money you would have spent on these batteries and putting them toward a new telephone. To give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt, my guess is that they're not intentionally being underhanded -- the batteries, like the phones they fit, are probably fairly old and simply have lost their juice sitting on a shelf.

So far, so good
I just purchased two of these as replacements, and so far they are working fine. I'll update the review if I find otherwise. I'm not sure what the other reviewer was seeing as a problem - these do not sit on the shelf with a charge that can be lost over time. You must charge these first for them to have a charge. If they didn't keep a charge after charging for the other reviewer, that's a problem. Otherwise, of course they didn't work out of the package.
Note these are 700 mAh versus the 650 I replaced. Panasonic must have upped the storage power - which should translate into longer use times between recharging.

My telephones work again!!
Batteries arrived quickly and now my phones are back up and working like they are brand new. Before replacing the batteries with the new Panasonic batteries, I had to recharge the phones constantly and they were always dying in the middle of an important phone call. With the new Panasonic batteries in place I can leave them off the hook for days.

Good Battery for the KX-TGA271
I bought 3 of these batteries and they worked great. I'm back to buy another one.
