Ran iPod Classic & iPhone into 1 Aux. input!

(4 out of 5) by LoudAsHope on Nov 29, 2009 (PA, USA)
I bought this so i can run my iPod Classic & iPhone GPS through the same Aux. input. It's works great for this! I just have my iPhone GPS app turned down a little, & they both come out of the stereo. ALL HEADPHONE SPLITTERS ARE 2-WAY!
I don't really notice any loss of audio...maybe a LITTLE lower volume, but most people will not notice this.
There is not much to review on this, it's a wire...it works!
I do wish it was black though.

Crap.

I needed this to split two computers into one set of speakers. After less than a week, one of the connections went dead out of the left side. For what I needed this splitter for, it utterly failed. Buy hey. $5. Whadaya want.

Hazardous substance, Lead is present in concentration higher than MCV

(1 out of 5) by UNLV Rebels on Nov 7, 2009
When I opened the package, the product looked good. However, I saw a small flyer inside the package that said " Hazardous substance, Lead is present in concentration higher than MCV".

The description in the website here did not mention anything like this. I immediately requested RMA and I am going to ship this item back. Amazon told me that they will pay for returning shipping and credit the $ that I paid. Amazon is the best online seller !

It does what it's supposed to do

(5 out of 5) by Chris on Nov 5, 2009 (Wisconsin)
It works. A splitter is not one-way, it is two-way. I have my computer speakers as well as an RCA-headphone cable from the TV connected to the splitter. I plug it into the computer that is connected via dvi to the TV. Because the splitter is two way (all are) you can get audio output from the TV into the computer speakers (like when watching cable tv) and computer sound output to the computer speakers all at the same time. Many people do not know this, this makes it very easy for media center users and such.

Useful small gadget

(4 out of 5) by Luis Guerra Chávez on Oct 4, 2009 (Peru)
This is very useful. I've got it connected to the back of my PC so that I can share the sound between my small speakers on my desktop and between my 25-year old Technics Soound System, with which I get a ton of volume for my parties. This splitter has never failed me so I can be very confident that it will work for a looong period of time. A small gadget that's very useful. I'd give it 5 starts if it were black color.
