Headphone splitter

(1 out of 5) by Michael on Aug 4, 2009 (Iowa)
I recently bought this item to connect my xbox and computer to the same set of speakers. when i plugged the 3.5mm speaker cord of the xbox to the splitter and the 3.5mm speaker cord of the computer to the splitter the sound quality was terrible! my speakers were all crackly, so i have to leave 1 dis connected so i get the clear sound i want. i bought this expecting it would work correctly, looks like i was wrong i give this product a 1 for terrible sound quality, thank god it was cheap.........

Electronic Junk

(1 out of 5) by Pushin' Fifty on May 4, 2007 (St Louis, MO)
Well, stung a second time on Belkin products--shame on me! I open the package, plug 'er in, and the left channel sorta works, sometimes, if you wiggle it around a little and don't move when you get both channels. Should have paid a little more.

Before this, a $80 power converter (12VDC to 120VAC) that crapped out after a month of extremely light usage. No more Belkin for me!

Does not connect 2 headsets as described

(1 out of 5) by F. Voorhees on Jul 27, 2009 (Fountain Hills, AZ United States)
Ordered and received the product via Amazon. This product does NOT connect two headsets to a single device. Instead of a dual (split) cable with a male connector on one side and 2 female connectors on the other, I received a dual (split) cable with a male connector on one side and 1 male + 1 female on the other.

details?

It wasn't explained that the headphone splitter would only work with a certain kind of small headphones. Unless one has headphones with a tiny jack, then they are useless.
