While I read a few of the reviews before I purchased this product, I didn't have much problem with the comfort of the headset. Maybe I have smaller ears. Unfortunately, the mic quit working within the first month. I own a Vostro 1400 and the internal microphone always worked better then the headset. I kept the headset for a pair of headphones, but I don't recommend buying this product for the microphone.

Great headset
I paid >$30 for this product and it was well worth it. The headset is good, doesn't hold out THAT much sound, but does a nice job generally, and it produces excellent sound quality and can be very loud. The mic is great also, the 'stem' it's on IS movable but doesn't seem to be something you want to constantly adjust, but it does swivel nicely. The mic has quality recording as well, it doesn't seem to pick up much background noise but I usually use it when it's quite anyways. There is also a volume adjuster on the wire as well, which the wire is rather long, about 3ft I think, the slider is very useful as well. It is one wire but splits into 2 jacks for headphones and mic. Only reason why it's not a 5-star is because while you can swivel the mic the stem doesn't adjust laterally, so you can't pull it in towards your face more if you want. Not a HUGE deal, but something I'd feel more comfortable with. Still a great product.

Great Headset
The headset has great volume control, is comfortable, and built with quality materials which makes me think I will be enjoying this headset for years to come!
I believe this headset is the perfect balance between quality and price and will impress it's users.
Thank You

A bargain
I use this headset with a ham radio, an Elecraft K3. This radio allows you to plug a mic and headphones into 1/8" jacks on the rear panel in addition to a traditional ham/cb type connection on the front of the radio. These 'phones sound great and are comfortable for hours at a time. I get unsolicited reports of great audio on the air frequently. On occasion I've plugged them into the laptop beside the radio to listen to mp3's and they're better than the Koss headphones I normally use which are quite good themselves. I've had them for about 6 months and durability seems good so far, I haven't had any issues. Hard to go wrong for under $20.

Pros: Works good nice long cord if you gotta reach a long way
Cons: Not very comfortable presses on the ears and begins to hurt the ears after awhile. Note "awhile" means hours of play time.
