I have had a few KVM switches over the years, but this is the best! It has excellent functionality, came with a full set of cables, and was priced right. It's perfect.

this is actually my First KVM Switch, and I'm very happy with my purchase, it's small and neat, and doesn't require an external power source which is really great when u consider the jungle of wires behind my computer. plus it comes with 4 6foot KVM cables which is a whole lot better than having to go and find the cables elsewhere. the keybaord shortcut is great to, it allows u to jump to any PC by pressin 2 buttons (numlock twice + port number) and a satisfying beep tells u the switch has been made, I love it,

I do Folding @Home for the MaximumPC Folding team on 8 computers. I recently wanted to move a few more PCs to the lower level to lower the heat in the Computer room.
This switch did the job.

I don't find the beep a problem. It tells me I hit the right combination and selecting a computer will work. It is not very loud. Of course my hearing isn't what it used to be.

I had one video connector on one of the cables that wanted to bend a pin. I straightened it out with a small screwdriver and all is well. I'd check all the connector pins on every cable before trying to connect them. Especially if you are a bull in a china shop.

Not bothering to repeat the good advice given by the earlier reviewers.

For the price this is a real good KVM. I work in IT and have used better products (but at a cost of $$$$). I use this KVM to connect to my Windows box, Linux box and laptop and it works for what I need it too do. I would give it 5 stars if it worked perfectly.

I have 3 PCs hooked up to this switch. I have nothing but praise for this product. It has worked flawlessly for the 3 months I have owned it, and used it extensively 7 days a week in the support of my job. It worked exactly as advertised. I have had no problems, even switching between machines while booting (something it says is not a good idea). I saw a lot of grouching about the bell when you switch machines.....I did not find it to be distracting in any way. I highly recommed this switch.
