Sweet as Hell

Got this for XMAS. First Mac since 1990. The switch back has been very enjoyable so far. I have been on a trip to Florida and never have I had so much fun taking digital pictures I have literally taken 400 shots which is about 350 more than usual. Also, burning CDs from my parents collection to iTunes has been a breeze. I am looking forward to copying my 500 disc library from my old Sony PC along with my pics. My iPod will simply rock with this computer, way more than with my PC. Also, the DVD was amazing on the plane down here. Simply perfect. Sexiest machine I own. Better then my Nissan 350Z. Props to Steve Jobs for the iPod, it has converted me back to Mac. Now I am playing with a seriously powerful lap top and enjoying computing more than ever before.

powerbook 15"

I love my apple powerbook. It looks good, also very easy to carry around. OS X is excellent, if you get the microsoft office it's fully compatible with your office, exel, powerpoint files from your PC. This is my second macintosh and I have no plans on getting another PC ever again, I want nothing to do with Windows.

This is the best of the best

I have had this computer for a long time and it always works just perfectly. i have never had it brake, even with my constant droppings of it. So over all this is the toughest computer i have ever had.

so far so good. just wish apple had changed the actual design of the product a little to differ from the old. so this new laptop looks just like my old one...kind of takes away from showing off something new when it looks exactly the same.

great flat screen though...seems sharper than the older version. and the remote control feature is awesome!

Another Great Apple Product

I have owned 2 Dell PC's in the past 8 years and have made the almost seamless switch to one of the best computers I have worked on, the Mac Powerbook. I have experienced 0 problems and have also purchased the Apple Care with my computer as insurance which is the same as what Dell does as well, offer an extended warranty. So to combat what the person said above, first you should always take the extended warranty no matter how much it costs, it technology and it can malfunction. And secondly I had my last Dell computer crash and and lost everything I did not back up. I was able to get help from Dell but I waited on the phone for hours and every person that I talked to had a very hard time speaking English well. The communication was horrible. Point of this message, the Apple is far superior!
