Bashing Blesh...
Sirius Radio is the BEST...hands down. My first experience with satellite radio was with XM, and they just couldn't cut it. I switched to Sirius and was instantly hooked. I've been with them over a year now, and I was there on 1.9.06 when Howard powered his way onto the Sirius airwaves...this is what FREEDOM really is.
My Streamer GT gave out after a year of being beaten to death in my Freightshaker...so I've been without Sirius for two weeks, waiting for my replacement...and let me tell you, Testicular Radio has NOTHING on Sirius and never will. I get so frustrated listening to 20 minutes of commercials in between music on Testicular Radio...it will be heaven when I get my replacement next week.
Sirius is awesome and reviewer Kevin needs his meds
I in fact, love Sirius because:
1. They play half a million songs per month.
2. Their DJ's are genre experts, and are very knowledgable out bands and artists.
3. There is no corporate ajenda or payola. Music is played because it is good and it is truly a unique listening experience.
4. There are two, count them two, liberal talk streams (Sirius Left 143, and Air America Radio 125.)
I would pay much more than the $12.95 per month. The music streams have contributed to my music purchasing decisions.
So Kevin, relax, and maybe try it again.

re-think Sirius. It's NOT commercial free.
Hello,
I just purchased a Kenwood portable unit, and a home stereo kit from
Crutchfield Electronics, and chose Sirius over XM Radio, because of the
promise of 100% commercial-free music on 60 music stations.
I was lied to, and deceived.
Your claim of no commercials just slapped me in the face when i heard
the dj
say "The Rock" on channel 15, one of your rock stations. I also heard
something like "... We're Sirius about Radio"... or something
equivalent, in
a human voice form, that was definitely not a part of the track of the
CD
playing.
If only you had kept true to your promise, I'd not be in a position to
return the equipment and cancel the Sirius plan.
Apparently you don't consider these talking interruptions to be
"commercials", but they certainly are just that. They are touting your
service, by the very mention of your name or the channel I may be tuned
in
on. If I am going to pay you for a 100% commercial-free environment,
then
don't slap me in the face (or ears) with any of this garbage.
I am so let down by this that I'd not shed a tear if your company went
away
tomorrow. I would rather see you make the swift, immediate change, to
honor
what you say you have, and make it just that -- Music. Only music. Not
a
single piece of chatter, voice, announcement of any sort, not a single,
solitary mention, at any time.
Until this happens, kindly count me out of your revenue stream, and I'll
continue burning my "commercial-free" CD's, from Kazaa, and I'll begin
studying one of the Mega-memory MP3 boxes that can suck down many
thousands
of songs, and go for hundreds of random, commercial-free listening hours
without any monthly contribution to a bunch of lying, dishonest folks
such
as yourselves.
Did I make an error? If so, kindly tell me that you really do have pure
music, without any interruption whatsoever...
A very upset customer, who will send a copy of this Email to Crutchfield
Electronics, and getting a refund on a brand new Sirius receiver.

...I wanted 100% commercial free music. Just music. I'm never going to XM or Sirius after this test. Caution!
