Great Value Traveling Speakers

(5 out of 5) by Terry J. Gothard on Aug 16, 2006 (Denver, CO)
Bought these for a trip to Mexico. Very portable and did the job nicely to provide music in any location. I bought the Zen Vision M and an AC Adapter - I use the same AC adapter for the Travel Speakers where possible. Good sound as long as you are not looking for "shake the house" volume. Decent output and around 4 hours of life on battery power. Good value for the price in my opinion.

All you need

(5 out of 5) by L. S. LINS on Jul 3, 2006 (Stockholm, Sweden)
I got these speakers as a gift and started using them together with my MP3-player as well as with my laptop while travelling. I have to say that I was amazed by the sound quality and the power these little speakers produce. Sure, I'm not an expert - but they sound way better than most speakers in general (even bigger ones) and they're perfect for the traveller as they are quite small and foldable.
The other day I decided to buy an extra set for my friend (who has a laptop with awful sounding speakers) so I went online to check the prices on the Panasonic RPSPT70 - I NEVER thought it would be so cheap. It's not even half the price of most products in the same category! I've been looking at several alternatives in the store and the Panasonic RPSPT70 sounds much, much better than most of them. For anyone looking for small yet powerful speakers - look no further - this is all you need!

Awesome speakers for the price

(5 out of 5) by Baez Construction on Aug 11, 2007 (Houston, TX)
Sure you can pay $75 for some really nice speakers that weigh quite a bit and are cumbersome to carry around. My fiance and I went to the big electronic stores and she wanted to pay a lot for some speakers to plut to her mp3 player. It was ridiculous. We went on amazon and found these panasonic speakers that were affordable and sounded great. It's a great sound for the size and price of the speakers and there are light and easy to use. There's no doubt that these are the ones that I am going to buy in case I need more. They sound better with batteries or a/c adapter, but rechargable batteries last a long time with the speakers.

Great speakers

(4 out of 5) by Y. Lyubarsky on Apr 27, 2007 (Morganville, New Jersey USA)
These are awesome for the price and size. An extra bonus is the fact that they still can passively transmit sound when the batteries are dead.
My only pet peeve is that these don't come with an AC adapter (yet they do have the outlet for it).

Not bad for the price

(4 out of 5) by Remington Winters on Feb 12, 2006
Don't expect much from these tiny speakers. They sound slightly better than your average alarm-clock radio. But for the purposes of providing a light, easily portable, way to play music in a hotel room or at the beach, they are worth the money.

If you have a $160 available to spend, go look up the 40 watt boomtube witht he AC adapter. It's a little bigger than a thermos and puts out excellent sound and rich bass.

Gave this one a 4 star because while it's not the best quality, it's cheap and portable so if it gets damaged or lost, no sweat. And it's obviously not meant to be Bose or Kenwood. Got it here for $23 plus shipping.
