The cheapest place I have found this TV is at GoodGuys for $3,499, so I am obviously on the alert. I have received the following email text from email address: "Ginger Zimmerman""

The price for the Sony KE42TS2 42" is 800 USD, the Sony KE42TS2 42" is brand new, with all standard accessories.
For shipping i am using UPS and for the payment Western Union managed by a third part service (Square Trade).
So please tell me if agree in starting a transaction,

Just as R. Zurbick correctly forewarned, the buyer is asking to be paid outside of Amazon through a 3rd party service via Wester Union. I have responded back to the seller to see if they will accept legit payment such as through amazon and/or a credit card. I will post a review if I hear back... Until then, I am remaining open minded but very guarded. I suggest you do the same.

Sony HDTV Plasma 42in.
(5 out of 5) by Joey on Nov 7, 2004 (USA)I owned this plasma for appx two(2) months now and I am so glad that I bought it, however I should of bought it a long time ago because I missed a lot for quality HD tv. I have my TV hooked up to Comcast cable in Chicago Il. I am very happy with their service but there is a additional charge of $5.00usc for high definition hook up. Well worth the money! Also I would like to give kudos to A.B.T. store where I purchased the tv, Sony Dream System along with a beautiful stand for everything, If you want the best out there go directly to A.B.T store in suburb of Chicago, well worth the trip!! If you just want a simple TV don't go there. What else more could I say? P.S. I watch more TV now then ever! Thats' OK 'cause I am retired!
