Great product, Great price

Rather quiet during use, reads recorded DVD's great too.
Excellent price as well.

Performance Exceeds My Expectations!

I wasn't familiar with that brand name and there were no reviews on Amazon about this product indicating whether or not this drive was any good. The price seemed pretty fair so I just took a chance and bought it. It could not have been any easier to install and that evening I watched a 2-hour DVD movie using it and the movie played flawlessly which was something I was not used to, simply because the original drive (that came with my desktop PC) was a slow 8X (speed) and it had always had some kind of bug with it; it wouldn't play dvds correctly and sometimes would refuse to play a dvd at all. Goodness know why!
But this thing gave me real pleasure playing that first dvd so flawlessy and I hope it will continue to do so for a very long time.
For me this drive was a perfect buy!
