Exactly What You Want
(5 out of 5) by B. Jerew on Mar 9, 2009I work as a Master Technician and installed this in about an hour on my 1994 Toyota Corolla. Very simple installation. Follow the instructions exactly and step by step using the included tools, and it's a cinch! Don't listen to those other fools who gave bad reviews.
In the end, does exactly what I want: Start & Stop. No crap alarms or fancy doo-dads. Just Start and Stop. Perfect!

works good for the money
(4 out of 5) by Blueridgerunner on Dec 22, 2008 (Stuart, Virginia USA)I bought this to replace another brand that never worked. I found it to be not that hard to install compaired to the other one (DEI-BOA). As a basic start/stop the car unit it seems to work fine.

not childs play to install, but affordable and effective

I like that you can install none, some, or all of the optional features to make the installation much easier. I initially just installed the basic remote starter using the T-Harness, and then there are just a couple of additional connections (ground, and brake switch) that need to be connected.
AFter about a week or so, I decided to install the parking light confirmation which just involved locating the right wire, and connecting one of the wires from the unit to it.
I am not a mechanic, and I just started doing a few things on my own with my vehicle. This took me about 5 hours to install start to finish (including removing and re-installing dash/trim panels), but someone with more experience with these types of installations could probably do it much faster.
I find the range to be okay -- enough to start it in the driveway or perhaps from a store if I'm in a close parking space.

JUNK from a BAD company

I am a mechanic and bought the extra install kit for my pickup to help with installation and ti worked but the range was about 10 feet max. Now it has started to keep my starter engaged and has ruined 2 starters and a battery in my pickup and I cannot get a real person to answer the help line to give any information or warrenty info!!!! They are junk units, spend the extra cash and get a real unit that has a customer service on this planet.
