Great basic camera

I've had mine for a week now, and it takes great pictures. Very clear, sharp, bright colours, both outdoors and with flash. LCD display is excellent, and allows you to zoom in on picture details when you're reviewing what you've shot. Also shoots nice, smooth AVI movies (though without sound).

It comes with a cable to hook it directly to a TV, which is an excellent bonus when you're visiting grandma.

It's also simple to use -- my eight- and ten-year-olds both took very good photos on their first try.

I would strongly recommend this as a digital camera for beginners, or for those who want a simple camera for quick snapshots, small prints (up to 5x7) or emailing.
