Awesome Cup Insulator

(5 out of 5) by P. O. Tyrrell on Jul 3, 2009 (North Iowa)
The Nissan insulated paper cup holder holds the heat for a couple hours easily. I took a week and a half road trip and used the cup holder every day and was really impressed. I would easily recommend this product to anyone buying their coffee from coffee shops. Looks great...works great.

Cant believe I lived without this!

I bought this product last April after seeing that my brother had one. If you love Starbucks, or purchase any type of coffee in a paper cup regularly and it gets cold or lukewarm before finishing, this product is for you! My mocha stays nice and hot until Im finished! Im one of those who gets them heated to 180 degrees and slowly enjoys it. I was always reheating my coffee until I purchased this. WOW! I just love it. My hand doesnt get burned and it fits the grande and venti sizes at SB and the 16oz-20oz here at my local espresso shop. I dont order the smaller sizes so I cant help you there. I can say that whenever people at SB see this, I get one of two responses, where did I get it..or a "thats awesome" statement.

As others have stated, it keeps pretty clean and it does fit in your cup holder. Ive also used this for fountain sodas Ive gotten, still ice after hours in my car..even warm temps! Ive Put bottled water in there too. It kept longer than if not, but since its not tightly insulated it doesnt keep quite as long as the sodas...but still better than nothing for those long shopping days.

I know this product may seem pricy but it is worth it. Now my husband has one and Im getting one for my sis bday.

Best unknown product of its kind

I saw this item in a mail order catalog a year or two ago and got one. It is made by a well known manufacturer and has been available for a few years - yet almost nobody knows about it! I've yet to encounter a barrista who has ever heard of it. In fact, one tried to pour the latte from the paper cup into the metal sleeve. Why Starbucks doesn't sell these is a mystery to me. Really great product!

Hot and Tidy!

I bought my first one of these about 4 years ago and just love it. It works well with the 16 or 20 oz paper cups from major coffee chains and keeps them hot for up to an hour in some cases. Also you don't need a paper sleeve to keep from burning yourself. I love mine because then I can make coffee at home (much better stuff than at the office) and put it in my paper cup and slide it in this holder. My coffee is still hot at work and everywhere in between. Then when the coffee is gone throw away the cup and NO CLEANING is needed. These are hard to find in stores so I have had to order online a couple of times to give to friends who are Starbucks addicts, they LOVE them. No this doesn't get rid of paper cups but it does make them easier to use and you don't end up with cold coffee as often.

A perfect thing!

There are a few things that simply could not be improved upon. This is one of them. Takes a veinte cup and keeps it hot for hours. (It is said to take 16-oz cups too, but as a hard-core coffee drinker I could not attest to that:)
