JBL a force to be reckoned with

Who would have thought that JBL had the capacity to make a killer amp at minimal cost? For around $250 (used), this buys you 1200 watts of clean power at as low as one-ohm mono. I have been running this amp to two 12" Infinity Perfects (12.1's) for the past 5 years and this powerhouse hasn't given up at all, even at extremely high volumes. The amp WILL go into standby occasionally when it is nearing 100 degrees outside (I own a small black car) so the trunk temperature was around 160 degrees. This has only happened three times and only since I have moved to southern Illinois. It never happened in the Chicago area. This amp is definitely worthy of praise and should be considered for all large-power needs in car audio. A++
