OK

(4 out of 5) by Rui Wang on Nov 3, 2007 (USA)
I bought this one for the quality of Lenevo products, for probably the highest total price, $12.57(listed price plus shipping and handling), among its peer products. It matches with my room design, being white and grey. I was worried when I received it. Its wrapping materials feel thinner than Belkins. But I am satisfied so far as it seems durable. I use it to connect my computer that is in the bed room from a ethernet port in another room. It is lied just under my bedroom door. I closed the door several times a today and there is not even a scratch on the wrapping material. So I guess it is again a high-tech staff, thin but stronge.

Very good ethernet cable.

This is a very high quality product. It is very well made and more flexible than most. Overall, it is quite a bargain compared to other ethernet cables of the same length.

Weird listing but good product

(5 out of 5) by Van Chinh Ly on May 11, 2009 (Castro Valley, California USA)
The item was listed as "Some Records HO96274 25FT Ethernet CAT 5E Cable." The picture made it look gray in color.

I honestly didn't know what I was getting into, but the low price was attractive. What I got was indeed a 25' Category 5/RJ45 cable, good for hardwiring your computer to your router or hub. It was actually black in color, and it was manufactured by General Electrics (GE). It came in a clamshell plastic packaging with a perforated tab that you can push in with your fingers and then pull out the wire quite easily.

So far it works fine. I recommend it for price and quality. Just ignore the weird product listing.

Does what it shoudl

This cable was pretty much the size I need and pretty durable. The one problem I had was unplugging it since the hard plastic shield is kind of hard to press down. This is not really a big deal but you are like me and have to switch your cords from your computer to your console its kind of an annoyance. That has more to do with my current internet connection rather than the quality of this cord since most people don't have to switch out what they are connected to.
