Rude, obnoxious support
(3 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Dec 24, 2003The computer works fine, small, quite fast. Heat seems to be a problem. The phone support is useless and the person who called himself Brad shouldn't have any contact with costumers- he is disgrace for Acer.

Don't get this one...go for the Toshiba instead
(1 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Feb 24, 2004I work for the local school distticts IS department, we recently bought 286 of these and they have been nothing but a problem since day one. The monitor latch often breaks, the wireless does not work worth crap, and the screen is very dark and hard to read. Altough the Toshiba cost's only a few hundred dollars more, it is WELL worth the extra money. Don't waste it on the Acer.
