Bought this for my home theater in the basement. Needed something to fill the missing bass sound. I ran 7 speakers (7.1) with my Denon receiver and Polk Audio (in-wall/ceiling speakers). Bass is strong and is plenty for my basement. Does require some volume adjusting from audio listening and movie home theater, but that's expected. For under $200, it's the best subwoofer in this price range...it's a winner. Highly recommend and best bang for the buck!

One of the best bang-for-buck subwoofers on the market. Good tight bass, solid build and quality craftsmanship make this deal an easy purchase. I have 2 and recommend it for small to medium home theaters with no hesitation....

I am not an audiophile by any means. I was looking for a smaller subwoofer to complete my built in surround system. After researching on Amazon and other places, I chose the Velodyne VX-10. I have not been disappointed. Set up and operation of the subwoofer was very easy. The subwoofer has really enhanced my system.

I just so happened found this sub for a great price on Amazon. My old Onkyo subwoofer gave out on me, so I was suddenly thrust into the subwoofer market. It is a great sub for the price. It is an ideal sub for a medium sized room. Great punch and responsiveness. Very well constructed. I was a bit worried about its extension (36-150Hz)and power (100W rms), but its really no concern after hearing it. I had to tinker with the receiver and sub settings to get the desired sound, but once I did, I really enjoyed what I heard. I am very proud to find a great subwoofer for a great price.

Excellent sound, great lows, music sounds clean and strong!
I love the LED Light and the Variable crossover.
I have the setting on around 85Hz and all speakers set to "SMALL" even the towers!
I watched "Monster House" and I couldnt believe the lows that were coming out of this sub, my whole room shook! I also tested with alot of action movies and all sounded excellent, this sub is an upgrade from my Sony SA-WM200 sub...big difference, but great price you wont be dissappointed!
