Burn at 8X on Plextor 708A
(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Dec 20, 2003I've had nothing but good results with Memorex DVD+R 4X media. This is one of the few brands that will burn consistently at 8X (about 8 minutes per disk) on the Plextor 708A DVD+/=RW drive.

Excellent Media!!

Good media if it's from Ricoh

Great, popular, and smell like syrup!
(5 out of 5) by Derrick on Oct 21, 2003 (Carlsbad, CA United States)Is it just me, or do these smell like maple syrup. Smell aside, they work at 4x on my Sony DRU-500A using DVDxCopy Express in WinXP.
They also have a nice clear label-type finish on top that protects the data surface from the top. I've always been leery about writing on the top of cheap DVD/CD media that lack this finish. Now I can sharpie my disks with confidence!
I finally get to use my 500A to burn 4x at a decent price.
