This is an exceptional product that exceeds expectations in many respects. There are zippered compartments within compartments for storage of everthing from cds to power cables. The durability and security are far beyond what I needed. It even has a special pocket for my iPod and other smaller pockets for all its accessories, apart for the compartments for the MacPro and it's accessories.

I purchased this used through Amazon and received it very quickly and it was in excellent condition. The build quality is very good and I would expect this bag to take serious abuse and stay together. It is a great design that was exactly what I was looking for, unfortunately it did not fit my Compal HEL80 (PowerNotebooks.com Power Pro L 8:15) 15.4 widescreen.
My notebook with out the extended 9 cell battery measures 14.25" X 10.5" X 1.5". I could get the notebook in the sleeve with quite a bit of doing, but I thought I would have to cut it out. I could have not used the sleeve, but it was part of the reason I bought the pack for the extra protection.
The 17" version of the bag will probably work for me. If your notebook is smaller than my dimesnions, this would be a great choice.

I love my Brenthaven! It protects my Macbook Pro like nothing I would have imagined. I feel my computer is safer in the backpack than anwhere else. I haven't dropped it down stairs yet, but I think it would probably survive if I did!

It's super durable, looks professional, has tons of pockets and room for other stuff (like books, accessories, etc.) and is very comfortable to wear. However, it is a very large backpack, perhaps too large for some customers, so be aware of this.

Otherwise, no problems at all. I am completely satisfied, and very glad I didn't settle for some lesser company. Brenthaven is absolutely the best protection and value for your Apple portables!

Although this backpack is pricey, it is extremely well designed and has lots of room for accessories, as well as, other items such as binders and books. One of the best features is the removable inner sleeve that perfectly fits the MacBook Pro 15.4. The sleeve is well padded and also has hardboard built in that gives further protection for the laptop. The sleeve's handle is on top so it works great when you want to carry around the laptop but not the entire backpack. I have a stack of laptop carry cases in my office. The Brenthaven backpack is definitely the best of the bunch.

The bag is comfortable, padded in the correct places for carrying, and has plenty of room for mice, cds, books, headphones, ipod, etc. Also, I've been able to get it under the seat in most standard commercial airplanes. Only disadvantage I see is that it only comes in black, with no other colors. It's also on the pricy side, but very worth it to keep your powerbook from getting banged up.
